iTunes app folder empty after deauthorizing/reauthorizing v11.0.1

New iMac, needed to deathorize all previous machines. Authorized only the new iMac. App folder is correct and up-to-date on both my iPhone and iPad (approx. 25 apps), but is empty on the iMac - I would really like to get this working so that I can update the apps.

I was able to download a new app (Google Maps) on the iMac and sync it to the iPhone with no trouble. This is currently the ONLY app that appears in the app folder on the iMac.

I have re-installed iTunes - no change.

I am running OSX Build 12C3103

iTunes ver 11.0.1

Any suggestions appreciated - thanks.

Slightly different circumstances here, but same basic issue. Got a new macbook air. authorized it (my 5th machine). None of my apps appear anywhere on the computer, even though the machine has accepted my authorization and is fully linked to my account - reflects correct account balance and all purchased music (but none of my purchased apps).

How do I download previously purchased apps to new machine?

Thanks in advance!

Don't know what I did, but all of my purchased music DID "magically appear" in iTunes. Don't know how or why, but it's there and it works.

As I put in my post, what I'm concerned with are my apps. Despite the fact that my music (including my purchased music) is in the iTunes library on my new macbook, NONE of my APPS have appeared. I am concerned about running any of the migration or other recommendations posted/discussed here, because all of my music is already there and I don't want to risk duplicating them or otherwise messing them up somehow. None of the links/information provided seems to pertain to apps.

So, I still have the question: how do you get the apps that you've previously purchased under an iTunes account onto a new computer using that same iTunes account?

Everyone is trying to help and I appreciate it, but don't have an answer to my specific question yet.

Thank you in advance.

What you are most likely seeing is the purchased music that is available via Apple's iTunes in the Cloud service. Any music ripped from CDs will not be available from this method. You will still have to transfer that music from somewhere to your new Mac, or re-rip the CDs. Additionally it is technically not "in" the iTunes library but is available for download which you need to do for it to be on your computer.

Most apps should be available for re-download from your iTunes Store purchase history.
