I've installed clamaXav on my mac osX v10.5 tiger it did not work and seems was also a malware so i decided to uninstal it ,the question is if by putting the clamXav's icone(the ClamXav disk image ) which was placed in application into the trach ,the entire engine and any other schedules i've got will be removed from my mac or not,if so how should i remove the clamXav totaly. Because i didn't find an uninstaller application on that disk.

OS 10.5 is Leopard not Tiger.
ClamXav works just fine with Leopard.

What disk? It is usually obtained free by download.

For faster more efficient response next time come to the ClamXav Forum.
The uninstaller is an AppleScript named "ClamAV Engine REMOVER" and is on the ClamXav_2.3.4.dmg.
It sounds like you may not have install it properly if you put the entire disk image in your Application Folder. You should have mounted the disk image and then drug the ClamXav icon to the right on top of the Applications folder icon. Trashing the Application icon itself is fine, but the scan engine is still taking up space on your hard drive, but probably not running anything.
Thank Madmacso as you told the uninstaler was on the clamxav dmg in my case 2.2.1 dmg.I could remove it because the clamxav 2.2.1 was still on the téléchargement (french version) or downloading page on mac,should i delete it from this page?
Thank klaus1 in fact the mac i use is OS X 10.5.8 ,procesor 1.07 GHz power PC G4,if you say that is leopard and not tiger i agree.
ClamXav v2.2.1 was the last that will work with OS X 10.4.x (Tiger). The current version 2.3.4 is compatable with OS X 10.5.x (Leopard) and above (Intel and PPC) and can be found here along with the documentation.
