how do I remove bulk exclamation points (!) from song titles?

Exclamation points are next to all of my songs, and many songs are duplicated/triplicated after attempting to copy/backup music library (17,000 original titles, not showing 35,000 titles). How do I remove the exclamation points and eliminate duplicate titles?

Any and all help is appreciated.
