I had lost all previous events from January back  in calendar except for recurring events. This was on all iCloud use devices iphone,IPad, and air book   Thus happened after recent update. I finally went to calendar settings and found that the sync events was checked for I month. I have never changed this previously. I changed to all events and lo and behold, all my previous events had returned to the calendar. I had to do this on each device. Hope this will work for those I see had posted same issue

Nurseiris-- can you tell me how to get to that setting on the Mac ical desktop? I have been searching under Preferences on my Mac Air but I don't see it.

I share a work calendar on my iPad with my boss and have just noticed all our January appointments have disappeared for the whole month. Nothing on calendar at all. We use the calendar for billing so this is a serious issue for us.

They are not recurring events, so clearly Apple are wrong and there is a major problem. Well clearly we all need to complain more so they will take it seriously

Thank you so much Nurseiris, I was frantic thinking I'd lost all of my January calendar and all of my work billing information. I did as you said, went to calendar setting and sure enough was exactly as you said and it was only showing for 1 month. Have changed back to show All and has reappeared. Thank you for taking the time to post and helping me out.

noticing that today for the first time, I rarely lauch icloud.com but as soon as I did today, I got a notification for a today's event, closed it, went see the calendar, but it's nowhere to be seen ... that is, on iCloud, as it's still there on my iphone.

edit: that wasn't a recurring event, but I'm gonna do more testing to see what's going on ... that's not good anyway.

seems to only concern some (just some) past events, and not newly created ones... so far

hmm ... weird ... it works normally again now

Any update on this issue? My iCloud is still not showing any repeating events after one has been edited.

Happening with me too.  Lost calendar so I have to write down everything because I can't trust my iCal until they fix it.  It happens on both my ipad 2 & iPhone 5.  On top of it, iOS 7 keeps turning off my icloud settings.  I hope they fix it soon.

If I enter a non repeating appoitment on the iCloud calender. It shows up on my iphone but then disappears from ICloud. This is a new problem for me. I see it’s been going on for a year. Has there been any meaningful fixes?

I am having this as a new problem since 4th February - apointments disappearing from my iCloud calendar, although staying on my iPhone. I have tried advice above, deleting the calendar from my iPhone etc but this does not resolve it. Anyone else suddenly having this problem? Or know how to fix it?

I have three iPhone users here at work who are experiencing similar symptoms, also all starting yesterday afternoon (February 4, 2014).  All events still appear in the calendars on their iPhones, but very few events appear in their calendars on iCloud.com website.

For days that show some items, viewing that day in "Day mode" on iCloud.com then causes the missing events to appear for that day. But some days show no events at all on iCloud.com, and viewing those days in "Day mode" does nothing.

All three users tend to have lots of "all-day" events on their calendars.

It is as though the iCloud.com website's calendar is not properly refreshing or displaying the events which are clearly still saved in their iCloud accounts.

(As a side, all three users can still see all events in Outlook on their PCs, which is set to sync with the iCloud accounts).

Anyone else seeing this or have any suggestions?

Same problem here. Called into Apple Support and they found it hard to believe, so I am surprised that this isnt really a new issue, although I just got it since today. If this is going to persist I need to revert to syncing my Outlook and Apple devices through Google Calendar, that always worked (until they stopped Google Sync, but now there seems to be an alternative).
