This is a little bug in the iPhone IOS 6. Apple will fix it soon I hope.
But, you can try this: Go to homescreen > Double tap home button > Hold down the AppStore icon till it wiggle > Close the app ➖ > Restart iPhone > Open AppStore again. Maybe it is solved, if not. Update via iTunes and wait for an update.

Thanks for the information, I already tried to close the application from the backgroun but still the same 😐, I guess I will have to try via iTunes
Same problem here - 3 updates and nothing but a blank screen all day. Tried closing the app and rebooting to no avail. Anyone from Apple out there listening? This is on my iPhone but my iPad is functioning properly.
Bobby, I did some searching on other forums and found a fix. This worked on my phone:
Change the device’s language by tapping Settings > General > International > Language. Pick a language. Pick any other second language you already know or be familiar with. If you don’t, do not forget to navigate back in a different language. Change the language, launch the App Store, then change the language back to what it was originally.
It worked for me and many others.
At the begining I thought you were kidding...
but it actually worked!!! thanks Man 😁
Hey, when I came across this I gave it the mighty hairy eyeball of skepticism as well and was just as shocked as you when it worked. I have a theory on a memory issue that may cause the problem and why this bypasses the memory lock-up but that is better left to the experts.
Strange!
It worked!!!!!!
