HP Driver problem

I have an HP Ofice Jet printer

I download the driver from Apple website its been 45 mins and its still installing with "waiting for other intallations to complete " Iam not installing anything else but the HP Drivers . Why is it doing this ? should i go to my time mahine and reinstall from there??

This all happened whrn Apple Software told me I have a HP Update
