I have an HP Ofice Jet printer
I download the driver from Apple website its been 45 mins and its still installing with "waiting for other intallations to complete " Iam not installing anything else but the HP Drivers . Why is it doing this ? should i go to my time mahine and reinstall from there??
This all happened whrn Apple Software told me I have a HP Update

If you haven't already done so, force close out of that prompt.
Next, reset the printing system, you can find out how to do that here.
After that, see if a software update is still available, and download it if so.
