I have an iphone 3gs, I did the update but now all the apps are not working, not even safari and the App Store

Download one free app (any free app), run it and then try your apps again.

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

Go to Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID: and make sure the correct one is there.

even refreshing the iphone and making the backup seems useless 😢

i checked it !!
now i did the restore but the backup is not working..
i mean..the phone is working i have all my pics but any apps shown up
and itunes is asking me always if i want the backup even if i already did it
so i can't go to my itunes page with all my apps 😮
plus safari is still not working as App store..

I'm not sure what the above means.
You may need to Restore it as a new iPhone and then manually reload everything.

What happens when you try to use Safari or the App Store app.
it seems i don't have internet connection but i have it.. everything happened after the update of ios 6.1
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
Then pull the plug on your router for at least 2 minutes and try again.
app store is loading and then : CANNOT CONNECT TO ITUNES STORE
AGAIN : CANNOT CONNECT TO ITUNES STORE 😢
