Relaced the Hard Disk (task undertaken by an Apple Store) and installed Mountain Lion 10.8.2 and all went well.

Downloaded OSX Server 10.8 from the App Store and all seemed to install fine in that I get a success message.

BUT every time I try and run the Server app subsequently it starts again to `Set up your server` and does not give me the interface as described in the various guides. In other words it is repeating the setup process over and over again and I am going around and around in circles.

Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance

Which version of Server are you using?

Previously, I was getting some Sandbox errors relating to accessing the .AppleSetupDone file, which I cleared by manually editing one of the .sb files. Hopefully this would've been fixed in the latest Server 2.2.1, released a few days ago.

    Hi Simon

I am using the latest version 2.2.1 (169). I have searched for an .AppleSetupDone file and .sb files, but I can find neither. Where should they be?

    may not apply to you...

did you copy the server app from another machine?

it requires specific pernmissions, best if you download it from app store..
