boot camp problems

So here's my problem... i used bootcamp to partition part of my hard drive for windows 8. it worked fine. but i accidently reformated it to MAC OS EXTENDED. thinking it was my external hard drive. windows 8 needs the partition to be formatted in NTFS, so i cant reinstall windows. and i am unable to delete the partition in bootcamp. i was hoping there was a way to fix this without having to wipe my computer and reinstall everything. can anyone help me?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)
