I'm selling my iPad 2 to my mom and buying a mini, how can she use my purchased apps but we have different music, pictures etc?

I don't want her to have to repurchase all the apps I already bought, but I'm she she wants her own music and other stuff that wold be tied to my apple account

Well its kind of tough to have it both ways unless you share an Apple ID, if she wants to have her own Apple ID or has her own Apple ID, she must continue to use your ID if she wants to update the apps that you bought and if she wants to sync them from iTunes she will need to be signed into that ID as well.

She can continue to use your ID for that purpose, but if she downloads a past purchase from your account using your ID on her iPad, she will then lock herself out of her own Apple ID for 90 days. Read this to learn more.
