problem with uploading podcast to itunes store (different than the other question)

I'm guessing this is something on Apple's end, since I cannot find any documentation about this particular error anywhere online.

I'm having the same problem and I tried it on my Mac and Windows 7 in addition to trying it on different internet connections. It's maddening.

Please post up what the RSS feeds are you are trying to submit.

It could be an issue with your feed.

One thing I see in your feed - is your media files have spaces in the file name.

That is not recommedned. I would suggest - renaming your media files removing all the spaces - and replace those files and update your feed.

Then try resubmitting.

Sometimes files with spaces in files names.

It validates at feedvalidator, and if I manually subscribe to it in iTunes it comes up, I just can't submit and get the same error as others.

Any ideas other than It's on Apples end?

I'm having the same issues. Has anyone tried reaching out to Apple and heard any answers? What a bummer! Also, does anyone know exactly how long it can take to approve the podcast?

I just got confirmation that this is a known issue by Apple and they are working on it.

When I hear the issue is fixed I will repost to this thread.

Please post Apple's response to this issue. My friends and I are working on a side project which includes podcasting and like everyone above are experiencing the same issues. Manuel subscription feed works just fine but adding to the iTunes store receiving the same host error message.

It validates and works when manually adding it-- except that it never loads the image/album JPG. Does that only work once it's in the iTunes Store?
