Correct:
- Double-click the Home button.
- Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
- Swipe the app up to close it.

You're kidding, right?
It's a lot easier and faster now. Instead of having to precisely target the little X in the corner, you just swipe a huge target and get it right in one go. I think killing multiple apps is much, much faster in iOS 7.
