Internal hard drive almost full

Hello,

I purchase a Time Capsul last month. I recently noticed that my internal hard drive is almost full. I am not a big file person so this struck me as odd. The internal drive is 1T but it only has 130G of space left. Is it possible that Time Machine is backing up to my hard drive? If not, does anyone have an idea of what may be going on?
