I have an issue where my p2p0 adapter always has an active connection and I don't know why this is or what it refers to. Does anyone know what this is and why it has an active connection all the time?

Yes. I know it's AirDrop, but I am not using AirDrop and the adapter always says active which doesn't make any sense. I have another machine on the same network and it's p2p0 adpater is inactive.
How is AirDrop causing a problem?
Well for me p2p0 is now causing issues with Parallels connections. Instead of defaulting to a Bridged Thunderbolt Ethernet connection it is defaulting to p2p0 connection which gets the PC side absolutely no where. Very anoying to deal with.
