Hi,
After creating a 40s ringtone in Garageband, how do we
loop the ringtone so that when it is exported (shared) to iTunes,
the ringtone plays repeatedly - as I want the ringtone to play repeatedly in my iphone,
until I answer the call.
2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, Mac OS X (10.4.10), Laptop
As I understand it, the ringtone itself doesn't have to be looped - it's the phone that just plays the same sample repeatedly.
I tried the ringtone that was devised in Garageband in my iphone5. It stops ringing after the specified duration, and does not loop at all. Is there a setting in the iphone5 that will keep the ringtone looping?

Christoph is right, the looping is done on the phone.
Does that no-looping problem only happen with that specific Rington or all your RIngtones. If it is only one specific one, then I would export it again, maybe something got messed up.
If that problem is with all the Ringtones, then maybe you should ask a Genius at the Apple Store
