Iphone 1 year warranty

Hi, I bought an iphone 5 like a month ago at L.A, EU. But I've been having trouble with the home button, sometimes it doesn't work. What I want to know is: the warranty that the iphone offers is valid in Mexico? Or is it only valid in the conutry where I bought the iphone? Please Help!

It is valid in Mexico, but outside of the country of purchase it will be up to the Apple retailer whether to honor it. The warranty may also be subject to legal constraints dependent upon the country of residence.
