Last night before i went to bed, i plugged in my iPhone 5 into its charger. When I woke up this morning the screen would show the apple logo and then restart and keep cycling through the apple logo. The phone only does this when plugged into a charger and does not even turn on when unplugged from the charger. I havent dropped it or have water damage. Is their any way to fix this?

Try a reset when your iPhone is plugged into the charger as you say it does not respond when not plugged in...
Press and hold the Home and On/Off buttons simultaneously until you see the Apple logo, then release. This may take up to 10 seconds. This is the equivalent of a re-boot and you will not lose any data.
See if it will charge after this.

I'm having the same exact problem! Just started the other night. as if an update screwed up my phone and ipad mini. Now my cell is dead and i turned off my ipad so it wouldn't die too. It seams i have to take them both to apple to get them fixed..
