My iPad Mini with iOS 6.1 will not connect to wifi at the office but iPhone 5 with iOS 6.1 will. Any ideas?

My new iPad Mini with iOS 6.1 will not connect to the wifi at my office, but several other people using the new iPhone 5 with iOS 6.1 can connect. The wireless security is WPA2 with AES encryption. I can connect to my home wireless instantly.

I'm 100% sure I'm using the correct login password.

I've reset my network setting on the iPad several times, made sure I had a strong signal, etc.

Does anyone have any ideas?

iPad, iOS 6.1, iPad Mini

Is the firmware in the router up to date?

See here for the latest for v2.2: http://homesupport.cisco.com/en-us/support/routers/WRT54G

Note: All these ideas are a bit lame since you say that some iPhone 5s are connecting OK and they running the same iOS level 6.1 and, i think, have the same Broadcom WiFi chip BCM4334.

All devices are running iOS 6.1 right not 6.0.1, or 6.0.2?

You might want to try your iPad mini on some other WiFi networks to see how it fares there.

I finally resolved this. I asked our IT person to read me the password for our wi-fi and when he did, it turns out one of the characters could either be a capital "I" or a lowercase "L". Turns out it was a lower case "L" and I was using a capital "I". The font that was used had no serifs, so you could interpret it two different ways. My iPad connected instantly once I logged in with the correct password.
