I can't view Numbers in Landscape mode on my iphone 4S.  Is this normal?   Seems strange.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

    Calibrit,

My experience is the same as yours. The iOS version of Numbers on an iPhone or Touch seems to be locked to the portrait orientation of the screen. I can't speak to how it works on an iPad.

Almost inconceivable, but you are correct. For some reason Apple has decided to only allow portrait mode for Numbers on the iPhone (& it sounds like the iPod touch as well). It works in LAndscape on the iPad, but not the iPhone. I can't even being to fathom why they did this. Of all the devices that could best use a landscape mode, the iPhone would be at the top of the list.

    MK,

Let's both send Feedback to Apple and see if we can get their attention. The form is here.

On another iOS topic, is see the case in your answer to me where an ampersand grew to be more:

I've had that happen when using the browser in 1Password with Apple Discussions. I wonder what browser you were using.

Jerold, thanks for the link. feedback sent. As far as what browser I was using, it was definitely Safari, but I don't remember if it was on my iPad or on my Mac. I'm guessing iPad. I'm typing this from my Mac, so we'll see if it does it here. If it doesn't, I'll give it a try from my iPad to see if that's what generated it (& it sounds like...)

Looks like it's iPad Safari causing the issue.
