iTunes purchase not showing in iCloud library

Hi, I purchased The Bourne trilogy and downloaded OK to my Mac. All works fine BUT when I check in my purchases library in iCloud The Bourne Identity is not there (the other two Supremacy and Ultimatum are there) when I view in iCloud/ Apple TV. It means I can't stream it to my TV. I have to stream it from my Mac to watch it. Anyone know how to get it to show in my iCloud library? Cheers.

Hi, thanks for taking the time to reply. I think I know what you are going to say . . . . download it again? I don't know if I can purchase it again on Apple TV I'll have a look later in the night and let you know in my next post. Remember it was a three separate bundle. I can see it to purchase in iTunes but haven't looked on Apple TV as I always purchase on my MBP. The other two films show OK. Speak soon.

Not all content is redownloadable, since not all studios have yet signed up for iTunes in the cloud. If it can't be redownloaded, it won't be offered for sale on the Apple TV, looking to see if its available for purchase on the Apple TV would tell us whether it falls into this category or not. Although to be honest, I would have thought that all 3 parts of the trilogy would have the same licenses..

Hi again Win C, OK so checked and yes The Bourne Identity is available as a download on Apple TV iCloud BUT it costs £9.99. All three films are there to purchase separately now. Seeing as I paid £14.99 for the triology (all three Identity, Supremacy and Ultimatum) I can't thoil to pay again, wonder if I purchased again it would tell me I have already purchased it? Remember I have it on my Mac already it's just not showing in iCloud library on Apple TV. What is strange is try as I might I can't find the triology bundle again. This maybe because now they [Apple] are offering a new four film bundle with the fourth Bourne Legacy added. Maybe they [Apple] have deleted the three film bundle. That shouldn"t stop my previous purchase of Identity showing in my purchases though (the other two show OK. BTW it doesn't show in my iPad purchases either but I don't keep my films on my iPad, again that shouldn't stop it showing there. Very strange.

Maybe they [Apple] have deleted the three film bundle. That shouldn"t stop my previous purchase of Identity showing in my purchases though (the other two show OK.

I admit it's strange that 2 out of 3 show, but otherwise changing packages in this way is the sort of reason that purchases might not show up in your purchase list.


By the way, have you checked in your account that the movie simply isn't hidden.

Hi WC, thanks again for your prompt reply. I checked on my account page but could not find anything relating to anything being hidden however . . . . there was an email button to Apple support so have shot them an email explaining the problem. They say a 48 hour gap before I get an answer. When I receive it I will post it here. So we can all learn. Anyone else out there with this problem? Thanks again.

Thanks again WC, I rechecked my accounts page and I thought you had cracked it . . . . I had one hidden item. When I checked it it was the digital book for the music CD Ilse of Wonder. Checking the films revealed nothing hidden. Near but no cigar. I have a reply from Apple which once I have digested it I will post it here (see below). What I have just noticed (I have iTunes open at the mo) is Apple support have instigated downloading my purchases again. This is the opening salvo of their email . . . . .

Hi WC, well as promised the results . . . . I redownloaded the triology (thanks support) but it made no difference. I still couldn't see The Bourne Identity in my Apple TV library (still all OK in library on my Mac). So ended up with two copies of all three films. So sent an email back to support this was their reply below (just received)


Carole Anne here. I see you are still unable to watch the last movie in the Bundle you purchased. I know how eager you are to watch your movies so I am going to do all I can to be of assistance.

I have reversed the charge for "The Ultimate Bourne Collection". In five to seven business days, a credit of 13.99 GBP should be posted to the credit card that appears on the receipt for that purchase.

So looks like even Apple iTunes support can't work it either. I'm gonna put the re embursment towards buying the four film bundle and hope that it works better. Thanks again for your help WC. BTW whilst wifey watches Pointless I record The Chase . . . . I like it better too.
