Humidity problem in macbook pro???

I bought a Mac Book Pro (13 inch late 2011) on the 25th of february 2012 in France when i was living there.

On the 5th of February 2013, the Mac Book Pro would not switch on without any particular reason. I went to Apex, the only 'Apple' store in Mauritius, where i live now. When the technician opened the laptop cover, there were droplets of water on the inside of the cover and he told me that the motherboard was short-circuited and cannot be repaired. He also said that this is water damage and that the apple protection plan does not cover this type of incident. I do not agree with his statement. If there is water inside the laptop, it might be because of humidity or other reason but not this is clearly not a damage made by a person.

I am not satisfied with how my laptop problem was dealt, especially when i took the extra 3 year protection plan. Most importantly, I bought a Mac Book Pro because i have trust in Apple products (I also have 3 iphones) and i used to feel that Apple products are reliable. But after this incident, my beliefs in Apple products have changed. How can water droplets be found inside the laptop??? I have been taking good care of my laptop and it is still in a very good state.

I am writing to you so that you can help me find a solution. I have some details which might be useful to you. The laptop, when in use, used to heat up a lot and i could hear the loud fan noise frequently. I have some photos of the inside of the laptop which i can sent to you if needed.

Have you ever had a similar problem???
