Turning off the TV using the Direct TV remote control also turns off my Airport Extreme.

Turning off the TV using the Direct TV remote control also turns off my Airport Extreme.

I just switched providers. Direct TV was installed today (Whole home DVR) and I didint notice this until they left. I turned off the TV and my sono's quit playing? Then I noticed that I can turn on and turn off the Airport Extreme using the Direct TV remote control. When I turn off the TV it turns off the router when I turn the TV on it turns on the router! Wow.

Has anybody seen this? If so how do I stop the madness?
