Not Charging

My iPod Touch 5th Generation is not charging. I plugged it in to my computer, Two Differrent ports and still it wont charge. How can I fix this?

iPod touch, iOS 6.1, Blue,32GB

iPod touch: Hardware troubleshooting

- Try another cable. SOme 5G iPod were shipped with cables that failed intially or after short use.

- Try another charging source

- Inspect the dock connector for bend or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.

- Make an appointment at the Genus Bar of an Apple store.
