Rechargeable vs regular batteries

I bought my Mac Mini in mid December 2012. It has an Apple wireless keyboard and Magic Mouse. I just replaced the mouse batteries today for the 2nd time. The keyboard batteries have been replaced once. For the mouse, that's a little more than 1 replacement per month.

For those that are using a wireless keyboard and mouse, do you prefer rechargeable batteries over regular?

You guys prefer any specific name brand?

Are these Energizers fine http://www.amazon.com/Energizer-Rechargeable-Batteries-Size-8-Count/dp/B004QMXX4 S/ref=zg_bs_1272237011_10 along with charger http://www.amazon.com/Energizer-CHP4WB4-Recharge-Charger-Batteries/dp/B003SP4QAE /ref=pd_bxgy_hpc_img_y? I believe those batteries are 2300mAh.

Anyone know what the battery mAh specs are for the keyboard and mouse?

Apple also has its own batter/charger combo http://www.apple.com/battery-charger/ at a good price ($29).

I have the Apple battery / charger combo X2. Some other gadgets around the home also use the same sized batteries too.

DSLR Cameras, Clocks , Maglites etc.

Over the past 18 Months they've more than paid for themselves.

I believe most rechargeable batteries can be charged up to 1000 times.

I've only had to charge my Apple wireless keyboard and magic track pad twice in 18 months...

I'd say the Apple solution is a good choice.

With the number of devices that I have that use AA batteries,

rechargable is THE only way to go. I have half a dozen kept

charged for when the ones in devices need to be recharged,

Personally, I use the Energizer rechargables with their charger.

They work fine for me in all the stuff that uses them from.

Plus they are available everywhere when old ones outlive

their usefulness.
