I have a 20" Cinema Display and I'm trying to connect it to my PC.

I hope someone might be able to help me out. I have a 20" Cinema Display and I'm trying to connect it to my PC. I plug it into the DVI port and into the correct power brick. The light comes on the monitor and blinks slowly but the monitor never turns on. Am I missing an adapter or something? Thanks a lot.
