I have a new IPhone 5 that is looking for my wife's ITunes account even though it is loaded with my ITunes library. How do I change it to look for my library/account?

Settings>iTunes & App Stores, tap the ID, sign out, sign in with your ID.
It did not help. If I go to settings, General,ITunes WiFi Sync. It has my wife's name and says sync now. I want my name there. How can I change this?
Thought you meant your iTunes store account, not wifi-sync. Did you try connecting your phone to your computer, going to the Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings, selecting Sync with this iPhone over Wi-Fi, then clicking Apply at the bottom to sync your phone?
This did not help. When I plug in the IPhone to computer, it will not update because it says that the backup is corrupt or incompatible with the IPhone. When I try to sync the phone, it still says that it will sync when my wife is available.
Do you and your wife have separate computers? And if so, did you originally enable wifi syncing using iTunes on your wife's computer?
I believe that we both have accounts on the same computer. I believe that I did originally enable wifi syncing using her account. Not sure though.
I did remove ITunes on the laptop and reloaded it tonight. I signed in under my account and then tried to sync. It did not help.
If that's the case you may have to disable wifi syncing in her user account using her iTuens library. I'm really not sure though. If someone does, hopefully they'll jump in here. The problem with chaning libraries is that when you do, iTunes will delete any iTunes media on the phone and replace it with the media in the iTunes library you sync with so hopefully this won't be necessary.
