I have an iPhone 3GS and thought the reminders on my iPhone automatically get pushed to the iCloud. Yesterday my iPhone crashed and I had to restore it to its original settings and lost so many reminders. Is the only way to sync iphone reminders with laptop - through iTunes?

Why couldn't you just restore the latest backup?
I got the "you need to plug into iTunes" screen which, when I called Apple they told me I had to restore it. I did have stuff backed up on my computer - but I hadn't synched up to iTunes in a while and so only had a few of my reminders. In the future - is there a different way to do it?
Can I push reminders from iPhone 3G to my MacBook Pro?
