Q: how do u add more music from itunes to apple tv music

how do you add more music from itunes to your apple tv music, is it only music u purchase?

iPad 2, iOS 5, I have a apple tv

    Not sure what you mean by add more music as The device has no storage. The music section would be for music you've purchased, streaming from iCloud (if you have iTunes Match you would be able to stream your full library)

     

    The computers section allows you to access your full library via home-sharing provided your computer is on and running iTunes

     

    You would need to add more music to iTunes in order to access more via ATV

    Yes your apple TV only plays music you own as vazandrew says either from home share library on your Mac or PC or via cloud with match.  You can of course used something like you tube which has some music videos.
