I just get the Akai Max 49, and I am wondering can it be like Behringer BCF 2000.
If i change to different patches, and the fader will match its preset volume?
Can MAx49's touch fader do this as well?

If you have a Max 49 there and ready to go, I suggest that you make a quick test Concert to check yourself:
Make 1 fader screen control and assign it to one of the Akai 'faders". Make sure that the "Send value to" function is set to the Akai for that fader.
Switch to Edit mode, map the fader to say Channel volume. Then copy the Patch a couple of times, setting the volume to a different level fo reach Patch.
Change patches.... does the Akai fader 'follow' the patches?

did you manage to configure max49 for logic ?
I just tried for 12 hours to modify the mackie-control-preset to adjust it to my needs.
The learn-function in controller-assignments doesn´t work properly - logic tells me "controller learned" but then moving the akai - faders result in weird things (the faders in logic are jumping)....
So maybe you can tell me what you did to get this controller do what is supposed to....

I do not really use my max49 in Logic but in Mainstage. So I do not know how to set it in Logic.
I can just tell you that in Mainstage it works (and as it is part of Logic Suite I guess that it is suppose to work also in Logic).
When I say that "it works", I have to say that it is working but unfortunately I meet sometime bugs...
What CCTM explain about the test in Mainstage is correct.
