Q: Airport Extreme Base Station software

I have Airport Extreme Base station 802.11n, Airport Utility 6.2 and MAC OS X 10.7.5. When I try to install the Extreme base station s/w I get "Airport Utility cant be installed on this disk. The version of MAC OS X on this volume is not supported." Which doesnt make sense to me since I already have Airport Utility installed.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.5)
