exit after playback complete?

My video player "dvarchive" is currently configure to hand a video file off to Quicktime player 10.2 on my mountain lion based Mac Pro.

1. I'd like Quicktime to start playing the file in full screen mode. Can this be done?

2. I'd like Quicktime to exit once the file has been played. Can this be done?

QuickTime Player Pro can set the presentation properties to open in full screen and quit the player when the file is finished.
