upgrade to IOS 6.1 Conflict

Hello, I am now trying to upgrade to IOS 6.1. after long time I've waited the iPhone ask me to connect the device to iTunes. I excepted that the installation will continue the progress. After doing so, Itunes ask me to restore the iphone because it in mode, Actually not the result I've expected.

now I'm stuck in a situation the the iphone must find an itunes to continue the installation, and an iTunes that seeking to restore the device insted of leting it continue the installtion.
