I have an Audi A4 with MMI equipped HiFi system. After the split of Podcast from the Music APP in iOS I can't play podcasts anymore in the car.
Anyone suffers same or have I overlocked any solution to it.

podcasts are just mp3 files you can add them to normal itunes as music too
and then sync them to the iphone as a normal music song
same problem here.

My iPhone 4S is recognized as source, and podcast title show up, but that's the end of the good news.
Deleted podcast titles show up too. Many podcasts that I listen to on the phone are listed as "no tracks selected"
The ones that are there, are under different alias podcast names.
For example. I want to listen to the latest episode of This American Life. I would have to scroll up to The Verge, as that is the location of the TAL podcasts. Very weird.
Not sure what to do other than get the Audi headphone adaptor, dash mount my phone, and only use MMI as a dump pipe for the aux audio.
