How to put my iTunes library on a HD portable

Hi, I have a Mac book pro with 350GB, most of it used by iTunes library. I want to put my iTunes library (all) on a HD usb. How can I do it?

Regards.

  1. Create a folder on the external drive for all your content.
  2. Open iTunes Preferences > Advanced.
  3. Change the iTunes Media folder location to point to the newly created folder on the external drive.
  4. Make sure 'Copy files to iTunes Media folder......' is checked.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Navigate to File > Library > Organise Library.
  7. Check 'Consolidate Files' and click OK.
  8. Wait for it to complete.
