Just updated my ipad and now all my audio books that I have recently bought have gone. Where are they?
Why is itunes becoming so user unfriendly! dont the tech morons realise it is easy to make something that is hard to use, the skill is to make something we can all use with out having to read pages of on line manuals to understand what should be a simple task!

You are not addressing Apple on here, we are all fellow users like yourself.
Open Books, Store and go to your Purchases and redownload your purchased books.

Unfortunately, this has been a very common complaint with iOS 6.1 erasing audiobooks. This is another reason why you should should ALWAYS back up stuff you can't re-download from the Cloud.
Yes, it seems all my books have gone. I have tried to redownload the books but the option to do so doesnt seem to exist. As for backing up, the only thing I want to back up now, is my car through the window of the apple building

Ps just found it all in a music app window I didn't know existed until 1minute ago 🙂, Still prefer it the way it was before the upgrade. If it's not broken dont fix it.....
