Why is this greyed out in my options?

I am trying to stream my photos but the option to do so is greyed out in iCloud. All that is available is "Learn More" and there doesn't seem to be any helpful info there for turning on this option.

MacBook, iOS 6.1, iCloud details

This Photo Stream feature requires OS X Lion v10.7.2 (or later) and iPhoto 9.2 (or later) or Aperture 3.2 (or later).

Does your set up match these criteria?
