WiFi connection problem
My iPad will not connect to my home wifi. I know that the password is correct. I have tried resetting the network settings but that did not work.

Have you tried the simple solutins first such as soft reset of the iPad by holding the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears (ignore the red slider) and the iPad restarts? Next up would be the Troubleshooting article.
Yes, I tried that and the other things in the article (resetting network settings, etc). I just reconnected my laptop to the wifi so I know that the password is correct and the wifi is actually working.
When you did the network reset, did you shutdown the router, that is disconnect power so it was actually down and not in standby mode? You have to then sequentially reattach devices, but that is another issue.
Does your iPad connect to other wireless networks? Is the home network the only one it will not connect with? If others are also a problem a visit to the Apple store genius bar is in order. If it attaches to other networks then there is an issue with the router and the way it is implementing the IEEE protocols for wireless.
