    1st Generation Time Capsule was manufactured between March 2008 and February 2009 with available hard drive sizes of 500GB and 1 TB. Single band 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz wireless operation.

     

    Current 4th Generation Time Capsule was introduced in June 2011 with hard drive sizes of 2TB and 3TB. Simultaneous 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wireless operation with separate Guest Network option.
