Can I run iWeb '09 on OSX 10.7.5?

I need an easy to use web designer/editor and iWeb looks like my best bet.

I know I'll have to buy an old version of iLife to get it. BUT, I don't know if it will actually work on my OS.

Any info would be helpful! Thanks!

This is my work computer, and it's a brand new iMac and we have iWork. I have everything BUT iWeb.

I need a cheap and easy web designer/editor. I don't need anything terribly big or complicated, as the work websites are pretty simple (no Flash, no Java, etc.) and I don't code by hand.

As far as I can tell, iLife 11 doesn't have iWeb, as they stopped making it in 09.

I was not expecting iWeb to come with iWork. I didn't have any plans for what web editor I'd be using initially. (This is my first Mac.) I was saying that I have Garage Band (boss would probably not enjoy me using that at work though!) and iPhoto & Photo Stream already.

Ok, I see that iLife 11 does have iWeb but it wasn't updated. Last update was the 09 version.

But everyone seems to agree that it'll run ok on my OSX 10.7.5?

What functions will no longer work?

The Google Map widget (can be worked around by using the standard HTML snippet and Google map code and iFrame code), the YouTube widget (same workaround), iWeb hit counter (many 3rd party counters available), Google Adsense widget (can add the Adsense code via the iWeb SEO applcation) and the MobileMe Gallery widget.

Note: if you have any interest in using iDVD the iLife 09 disk is the version to purdhase as it will give you all of the available themes for iDVD.
