OS6.1 update problems

Since i updated few days back to OS6.1 system i got a lot of troubles:

- battery drain

- wifi connectivity issues

- phone calls sound problems

- whatsapp / viber messages notifications, conectivity, receiving/sending photos problems

- email push notifications problems ( i need to enter inside email and then all emails will start coming after switching off / on wifi )

- facebook loading continously the feeds

- when i switch wifi to internet data plan all my applications won't work

Anyone has this ?

iPhone 4S, iOS 6.1

Have you tried restarting the phone by holding the sleep/wake button and home button until it turns off then turning it back on again? This fixes a lot of problems after an upgrade. As far as the apps go the developers need to fix those problems.

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

The reset requires holdings the buttons until the phone restarts. If you tried this and you feel your phone still does not work properly I'd make an appointment at at Apple store to see if they can resolve the problem.

Thank u , i have followed ur steps and seems no change took place, except that now emails are flooding, getting the same emails continiously over and over again after deleting, looks like never stop ... the rest of issues still persist. I don't know what else shall i try ??

Try restoring the phone then. If using your backup still has the problem then restore as new without using the backup.

Downgrading isn't supported and wouldn't fix your problem, since it's not due to iOS 6.1. Restore using a backup and if needed as new, without a backup. You won't lose any data (and nothing will be loose in the phone) if you can use a backup.

I tried backing up several times but still the same . So just need to restore the phone as new which mean i'm gonna loose things... I never jailbreak it
