Feb 8, 2013 9:44 AM in response to Pranesh12by turingtest2,If you have iTunes 11 and the format is OK it will show up in the Home Videos section. If iTunes doesn't like the file for some reason it won't be added to the library and there will be no error message.

Feb 8, 2013 10:15 AM in response to Pranesh12by turingtest2,Does the file show up in the Recently Added? To confirm there really is a problem with the file instead of some other mystery put a copy in the Automatically Add to iTunes folder inside your media folder. If iTunes doesn't like the file it will be moved to a folder called Not Added. I've no idea how you would identify or resolve any issues with the format but if there is an original in another format then you could revisit your conversion tools.

Feb 8, 2013 10:58 AM in response to Pranesh12by Pranesh12,Yes you were right the problem is in the file format. Whenever I copy paste the file to Automatically Add to iTunes it is moved to Not Added folder. I don't believe its happening cause all my files are in mp4 format. What shall I do now?

Feb 8, 2013 10:54 AM in response to Pranesh12by turingtest2,As I said before if you have another copy of this file in a different format you could try converting again. Or you could look for an equivalent of mp3val which fixed problems with mp3 files.
