My ipod is now in recovery mode after updating my ios. It says that i need to restore the ipod but the problem is my computer and itunes cannot recognized or read my ipod it doesnt appear on any of the two. What will i do? Please give me a solution for this. Ipod touch 5g.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
If i gonna charge it, it just turn into a usb cord pointing to an itunes logo.

Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. If defective, within warranty and not abused Apple will replace it at no cost.
Btw. My ipod doesnt appear in "computer" but when i check it in device manager it does it says apple usb drive(recovery mode) why is it like that? And on itunes it does appear but doesnt show any info about my ipod and when i run diagnostic it says no ipod found?
Is it beacause im in a recovery mode? Thats why it doesnt appear? Or theres something wrong about the ipod? I am residing here in guam. And guam doesnt have an apple store. So youre last suggestion cannot help me. :)
I'm now out of the recovery mode. I just open the itunes and turn my ipod into DFU MODE and aessage pop up saying that my iPod is in recovery mode and i need to restore it so I did restore it and DONE! BTW, Thanks for the time replying on my discussion. :) I did appreciate it. :)
Or you can just download your software in your browser than after it finish go to itunes the hit shiftkey on your keyboard than hit the restore button then click on ur software u just downloaded then wait awhile than boom ur out of recovery mode that how to got out of it.. Info came from my sister
Thank you for your concern. :) I already restore my iPod. All I've done is I open itunes and connect my iPod on computer and then put iPod into DFU MODE and a message will appear saying that I must restore the iPod and then I just click restore and waited for it to finish and then BOOM! My iPod is now alive. :) Thanks anyway :)
so it didnt delete everything? the same thing is happening to me and i DO NOT WANT MY STUFF TO GO!
