screen blinking and beeping on macbook pro..

This is a bit difficult to explain, but I borrowed an external drive from my cousin with some movies and used my macbook connected to the Telly to watch some. Before this the computer was working fine.

The next day I set the computer back up in my music studio and after awhile using Garageband I hit start and the screen went nuts... It was flashing white and back again and beeping like crazy. When I went to quit out of Garageband the menu bar would not stay down to scroll... When I quit out of Garageband nothing would work without the blinging and beeping. You click something and it sets off the blinking and beeping...

I have checked for that Java virus and I don't seem to have it...

My system is as follows:

Apple Mac Book Pro 17" i7 2.66 3.33 3.06Ghz 1TB 8GB Running LION 10.7.5

Does this problem ring a bell with anyone?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.4), MacBook pro 17

Well, I solved my own problem.. Know what it was? Blue Tooth... Yup.

It seems that when an Apple magic mouse pad or Wireless keyboard get low on battery power they can do funny things to your computer.. By some happenstance, and thankfully before I sent my Laptop back to the UK for repairs, I happened to turn off Bluetooth while my Macbook was having a seizure and lo and behold it stopped the problem..

I would have never thought to suspect it was the Mousepad and or the Wireless keyboard, but there it was..😉
