computer does not start in safe mode
Computer does not start in safe mode. The scroll bar gets about 1/4 of the way and then seems to go no where after more than an hour in safe mode start up

Does it start in normal mode?
What OSX version?
Normally that;d mean a hosed Drive Directiry, or munged "Safe" files.
