Q: ■Copy the files from the PC to an external hard drive or storage device, then reconnect the drive to your Mac and transfer the files to your Mac hard drive

I have all my files from my PC (running Win7) backed up to 2 USB hard drives (formatted for Windows). Is there any way to transfer those files to a Macbook Pro Retina?

If not, can I use my old iPod (also formatted for Windows)?

When I reconnect the drive to my iMac - where will my documents go. e.g. I have a document folder called "Recipes" and I have alot of recipes in this folder. Where will it go on the iMax?
