I can't see m iPhone under the device tab because there actually is no device tab in iTunes when I try to use remote with my iPhone. My iTunes runs 10.6.3, my iPhone 4S runs iOS 6 and my MacBook has osx 10.5.8., how do I use the remote app?

iPhone 4S, Also my iPhone4S=no-show in iTunes

Don't know about your remote problem, but if you're trying see the Devices heading on the left side in iTunes 11, first go to the View menu at the top, then select Show Sidebar.
