This has happened quite frequently to me recently: my Mail account on my Mac will randomnly say that it "Can't connect to the account Yahoo!" which is my primary email account. It will then have me enter my password to my Yahoo! Mail account. This is rather annoying, and I was wondering how I can get this to stop.

I'm having this same exact problem. I will enter in my password and it will connect for a few minutes.... and then all of a sudden that message pops up again. So annoying... Any help would be great!!!!

You are one of many having trouble with Yahoo.
Find a better email system would be my advice.
Are you using ATT Yahoo? If so I may have some help.

I think I am moving to another mail client. Apple mail is not very good.
None of the timeouts were set for anything Yahoo. I checked all of them
So none of my key's had a timeout as suggested by the apple tip sent by Eric Root. So I gave my yahoo p/w key a 300 minute /5 hour time out. I have not seen the message since. So if that works I will do it for a 12 hour period and maybe see it only 1-2x per day
