I keep text messages between a few people forever and would like to search through them to get to a specific date without waiting and tapping to load previous messages.... in my opinion the search feature is just a tease and should work or be deleted as a feature...

Not sure if everyone has the same experience though.

My husband updated to 9.2, and he searches for the same words I do, using our text conversations as a way to check, and comes up with nothing. My non-updated version still finds the words but then still takes you to the end of the entire conversation. It's an incredibly useless feature, but should be a super simple fix. Google yields better results with their search function, that's with searching PDFs even...

You can simply use
- ⌘ + G in order to jump to the next occurrence
and
- ⌘ + Shift + G in order to jump to the previous one.
May help someone
