Airport Extreme Network Setup

I've connected my Internet modem to my Airport Extreme to broadcast wi-fi, and also connected to my Mac Pro via Cat5 cable to the NIC. When connecting to the network via wi-fi with both my MacBook Air and iPhone it says I'm connected, but I'm unable to access the Internet. If I connect the modem directly to the NIC on my Mac Pro it works perfectly, but then I cannot broadcast a wi-fi signal. I've been able to broadcast wi-fi with this same Airport Extreme before with no problem, but it was not connected to a modem, but directly to a LAN in my apartment building. I've updated the firmware and followed all the instructions in the Airport Extreme manual. Any ideas?

Try setting the Pro up to 'create a computer-to-computer network' and see if this works to share the Internet.

Problem solved. I was trying to use the same network setup as before, which the Airport Extreme didn't like. Created a new network and it works as it's supposed to.
